I am a freelance food and travel writer, event host and editor based in Melbourne, Australia.
My work has been published and broadcast in Australia and internationally by the likes of Conde Nast Traveller (UK), Monocle and Monocle 24 radio (UK), National Geographic Traveller (UK), Here magazine (US), Phaidon, Australian Traveller, SBS Food, Good Food, Broadsheet, The Age Good Food Guide, Gourmet Traveller and more.
I was the food editor and a contributing essayist for The Monocle Travel Guide, Melbourne; author of Herb Lester travel guide, An Appetite For Melbourne; and a contributor to The Garden Chef, published by Phaidon.
I am a proud ambassador for Scarf – a social enterprise that provides hospitality training and mentoring for young people from Melbourne's migrant and refugee communities. I’m also an ambassador for Sacred Heart Mission's annual Dine With Heart campaign, which raises funds to help feed over 400 of Melbourne’s most disadvantaged people every day.
